KETTAL
The Kettal Showroom, located in a prime corner plot along Dubai’s Jumeirah coastal corridor, is a bold architectural reinterpretation of the retail showroom typology. Designed by NOMADK, the project reflects the spirit of Kettal—innovative, refined, and rooted in outdoor living—through a clean architectural gesture wrapped in a distinctive Flexi-Brick façade.
At first glance, the building appears sculptural, almost monolithic. But closer inspection reveals a façade animated by depth and light. The Flexi-Brick skin, subtly curved and parametrically designed, wraps the upper levels of the building like a veil—filtering sunlight, casting patterned shadows, and creating a gentle separation between the street and the interior. The tactile quality of the material, combined with its rhythmic perforation, blurs the boundary between envelope and ornament.
The showroom itself unfolds as a spatial narrative, offering a sequence of immersive interior courtyards, gallery-style display rooms, and open-plan lounge zones designed to echo the relaxed sophistication of Kettal’s furniture. Concrete and brushed metal elements are used sparingly, allowing greenery, textures, and furnishings to lead the visual conversation. Large, low-set glazing frames the desert-inspired planting and blurs the transition from exterior to interior—a nod to Kettal’s identity as a brand that lives between architecture and nature.

The Jumeirah site posed both an opportunity and a responsibility. Situated in a highly visible, pedestrian-friendly zone, NOMADK approached the design with a focus on longevity and place-making. The result is a building that feels civic in character yet private in experience—resolutely modern, but inherently human. More than a showroom, it is a tactile brand home that invites conversation, connection, and contemplation.
